University of Economics – Varna invites you to a public lecture by Prof. Vijay Tandon: „Luxury, Reimagined“ – Redesigning luxury for evolving consumer profiles, powered by AI & anchored in purpose and sustainability, on February 16, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in Hall 1.

Prof. Vijay Tandon is a highly self-driven, passionate, creative & focused individual with 20+ years of rich, varied, and Insightful experience, which is a combination of corporate, consulting & Akademia.

Prof Vijay teaches subjects in the field of Marketing, Strategy, Innovation & Luxury Marketing. He has served as the patron and one of the Board of Directors for the unique company Experiential Learning Corporation (ELC) which is completely a student-driven organization under the innovative experiential learning model of UAi. He is the brand ambassador representing UAi at GBSN (https://gbsn.org/new-member-spotlight-ubs/. He is also a member of Harvard Business Review Advisory Council and adjunct professor at Swiss School of Management (Rome, Italy & Barcelona) (https://ssm.swiss/faculty-and-staff-members/) and visiting faculty at University of Economics (Varna, Bulgaria).

In addition to transforming business, he had a strong passion for “Transforming lives” and eventually shifted to the higher education Industry to realize his passion and fulfil his commitment.

An accomplished case writer and researcher, Prof. Tandon has published four case studies with The Case Centre, UK and ten research publications on strategy, marketing, and sustainability. Before entering academia, Prof. Tandon built a strong foundation in marketing and strategy through leadership roles at global companies such as GE, Tyco, and AstraZeneca. At GE, he worked as a Marketing Manager, while at Tyco, he served as Product Manager for the South Asia region. He also consulted for a healthcare company (South Asia Region), deepening his expertise in international markets and cross-cultural engagement. His extensive corporate &consulting experience enriches his classroom with practical insights and strategic depth.

Prof. Vijay represented UAi at Cardiff Metropolitan University, London, UK & Under the Erasmus mobility he was Invited as Guest Faculty on five occasions, contributing to international teaching, academic dialogue & cross-border faculty engagement initiatives.
