Blerona Shala and Adelina Arifi - doctoral students from the University of Prishtina in Kosovo, visited the University of Economics – Varna during the period 20 April 2026 – 24 April 2026.

The visit was carried out as part of the implementation of project KA171 under the Erasmus+ Programme and aimed to strengthen the long-standing partnership between the University of Economics – Varna and the University of Prishtina, Kosovo.

The programme of the doctoral students included activities aimed at supporting their research and analyses as part of the preparation of their doctoral dissertations.

The guests also took part in thematic research workshops related to their fields of study, as well as presented their current doctoral research to the academic community.

Individual consultations with academic staff were also held, focusing on methodological approaches and opportunities for the further development of the research. The doctoral students had the opportunity to work with scientific databases and to become familiar with the library and information resources of the university.

During the visit, meetings were held with academic staff from various departments of the University of Economics – Varna, as well as discussions on current topics in the field of management.

The host of the visit was Assoc. Prof. Desislava Serafimova, PhD, Head of the Department of Management and Administration at the University of Economics – Varna. Assoc. Prof. Serafimova provided the guests with the opportunity to become acquainted with the academic environment, research infrastructure, and international activities of the university.

As part of the visit of the doctoral students from Kosovo, meetings with the International Relations Office were also organized.

The visit contributed to the exchange of good practices, the promotion of scientific cooperation, and the strengthening of partnership relations between the two higher education institutions.
