Remote Exams Guidelines

University of Economics – Varna students may take their remote e-exams in two digital platforms: eLearn or the Test Centre.
Students are referred to one of the two platforms in their WebStudent profiles under Exam Session.

Before you sit your exam

You can find info in your student profile in WebStudent (Exam Session) when and where (online venue) you can take your exam. In case your professor intends to use eLearn, please refer to https://e-learn.ue-varna.bg to get more info on the examination format and procedure.

On the day of your exam

You would be expected to be available online 30 minutes prior to your exam in eLearn, using your university student account. There you will find a link to a virtual classroom, for example Google Meet. The link may be the one used in your lectures or seminars or any other. You are recommended to use Google Chrome, though other browsers such as Mozilla Firefox are also an option. Once you enter the online room, you will be asked to identify yourself by showing your ID to your camera. Please make sure your name and photo are visible only, not any other personal details.

You may be further briefed on the exam format and exam results dissemination.

As per university regulations, you are required to have your computer camera and microphone switched on throughout the exam. You may be asked to share your screen with your professor.

The entire exam, your behavior, your surroundings, along with your IP address, will be recorded. You are not allowed to use any other device or any reference book. You will be using eLearn to write, once the exam starts, following the exam format available below the link to the classroom. You may be asked to use your camera to show the rest of the room.

Once the exam is over and your score is finalized, you will be emailed your final score. You are also able to check out your marks in WebStudent.

As per the Higher Education Act, your exam results will be stored for 12 months.

Please make sure you have a valid username and password to access the Test Center.

You are recommended to use Google Chrome, though other browsers such as Mozilla Firefox are also an option. Once you enter the online room, you will be asked to identify yourself by showing your ID to your camera. Please make sure
your name and photo are visible only, not any other personal details.

Once you see a Start button, you need to click on it to get started. Please follow the instructions from then on.
