The Center is established by the Academic Council on March 24th 2013. It started its activities in June the same year. It is a consulting and research unit that unites academic staff and external experts. Its main aim is to assist in the stabilization and continuous improvement of the relationship of the University of Economics – Varna with external organizations and institutions, through transfer of knowledge and in meeting their information needs for the purpose of managing various aspects of their activities.
The activity of the Centre is aimed at providing consulting services, applied research and research services to external and internal clients. The team of the Center also works actively on the implementation of research projects.
The Center offers the following services:
- Social surveys;
- Market surveys;
- Marketing research;
The team of the Center unites professionals: sociologists, statisticians, economists, specialists in the field of marketing and information technologies. The scientific capacity of the experts in the Center is aimed at solving problems related to the measurement and analysis of social, socio-economic, socio-psychological and socio-thechnological processes and phenomena; working with "big data"; development of analytical solutions for process automation in business organizations; improving product performance based on actual customer reactions (neuromarketin research).
