Open lecture on the history of Bulgaria

Over the weekend, an open lecture on the history of Bulgaria was held in Nessebar for the incoming students of the "Erasmus+" programme at UE – Varna. It was delivered by Evgeni Raychev, teacher of the "Erasmus+" course "European context of Bulgarian history and culture". The lecture was attended by all students enrolled in the course, as well as incoming students under the "Erasmus+" programme, who study at three universities in Varna. The total number of students who took part in the event is more than twenty people from over 10 countries.

During the visit to Nessebar, the students had the opportunity to learn about the cultural and historical development of the ancient city of Mesembria, to get to know the different styles in the construction of the official buildings in the city, as well as the Nessebar’s residential architecture from the period of the Bulgarian revival.
