University of Economics – Varna has again joined the prestigious Times Higher Education World University Impact Rankings and our university is among the four Bulgarian universities and the only university in Varna to have entered the 2025 THE rankings, which assess and rank HEIs on their efforts to drive forward the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs).
The rankings measure universities’ contributions to the United Nations 17 SDGs and assess HEI commitment to sustainability across four broad areas: research, stewardship, outreach and teaching.
HEIs in the rankings demonstrate excellent results in their contribution to global sustainable development and in their commitment to addressing the most pressing global challenges such as environmental sustainability, social inclusion, economic growth and partnerships.
