University of Economics – Varna warmly welcomes incoming Erasmus+ students for the winter semester of the 2026/2027 academic year

With the start of the 2026/2027 academic year, the University of Economics – Varna is pleased to welcome nearly 40 Erasmus+ students from across Europe for the winter semester.

This semester, students from Spain, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Poland, Slovenia, Turkey, and Slovakia have chosen the UE – Varna as their study abroad destination, bringing new perspectives and cultural diversity to campus.The 2026/2027 academic year also sets a new milestone, with a record number of students choosing a full academic year Erasmus+ mobility at the University of Economics – Varna. A total of 10 international students will spend both semesters studying at the university, reflecting its growing international reputation and increasing attractiveness as a destination for academic exchange.

To ensure a smooth transition into academic and student life at UE – Varna, the International Relations Office organize its traditional Welcome Days on 14th and 15th of September. The two-day programme features information sessions, campus tours, and networking activities designed to help students connect with one another and become familiar with the university's academic environment. Through interactive games, informal activities, and practical tips, the Erasmus+ students had the opportunity to get to know each other while learning more about life in Varna and Bulgaria.

The University of Economics – Varna continues to expand its international profile by providing an inspiring learning environment where students from different countries can broaden their academic horizons, share experiences, and develop intercultural competencies that will benefit them both personally and professionally.
