Successful Erasmus+ Mobility in Poland

The University of Economics – Varna strengthened its international partnerships in Europe with an Erasmus+ staff mobility in Poland last week.

The Head of the International Relation Office at UE – Varna Evgeni Raychev’s visit to Poland was under the initiative of WSB University in Wroclaw, which is one of UE – Varna’s long-term partners.

During his mobility, Mr Evgeni Raychev met with the Director of the Centre for International Cooperation (CIC) at WSB Jaroslaw Tomaszewski, and their Vice-Rector Barbara Szczepanik to discuss cooperation initiatives between the two higher-education institutions.

With the assistance of the colleagues from the CIC at WSB, UE – Varna negotiated a future partnership with a number of other universities from countries, such as France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Kazakhstan, Georgia and Ukraine, whose representatives were conducting their visits to WSB at the same time.

The Head of the IRO at UE – Varna also met with Prof. Marian Noga, PhD, currently a professor of economics at WSB in Wroclaw and former advisor of the previous President of the European Council Donald Tusk.

Outside of the Erasmus+ Programme, WSB University in Wroclaw is also UE – Varna’s partner in the development of a project proposal in the field of mediation.
