On April 8, 2024, a meeting was held between Prof. Maciej Czaplewski PhD from the University of Szczecin (Poland), the Vice-Rector for Research, Innovation and Professional Development Prof. Bistra Vasileva PhD and the Head of the Informatics Department Prof. Julian Vasilev PhD related to establishing cooperation in the field of scientific research between the University of Economics - Varna and the University of Szczecin. They discussed the future opportunities for the development of joint research by scientists from the both universities in the fields of economics, management and computer science, including the organization of international scientific conferences. Prof. Czaplewski is conducting a research internship at the Informatics Department, related to the software accessibility. His host is Chief Assist. Prof. Radka Nacheva PhD from the Informatics Department. They work together on the problems of development of the information society and the accessibility of information systems and resources.
