University publications date back to 1927 when the first Yearbook of the Higher School of Commerce appeared.
Later there came the periodicals such as "Student's Word" (1928 - 1930), the "Academic News" newspaper (1936),
the Magazine of the Association of the Higher School of Commerce - Varna alumni (1936 - 1939),
the Magazine of sea trade, maritime law and the exchange (1930 - 1940), the Economist (a magazine of global and local
economic as well as accounting issues) (1939 - 1943), the Plan (a magazine of public issues) (1945 - 1948).
Many of those are still kept and are available at the University Library.
The continuation of that literary tradition is found in today's publications of the University - the Yearbook of the University of
Economics - Varna and the "News" (the magazine of the University of Economics - Varna), which first appeared in 1957.
All the official announcements, normative acts and other issues of interest, related to the organization of training and research,
are published in the "University news" bulletin.
